CULTURE WEEK ACTIVITIES (ENGLISH PREP SCHOOL 2017-2018)

Year-end activities within the scope of Culture Week in the English Unit of the School of Foreign Languages took place on 24th May 2018 Thursday at 11:00 in the Administrative Building with the participation of the Vice Director Prof. Dr. Mahmut Tekçe, Education Coordinator and Lecturer Zümrüt Ergin, and other academic staff.

Students who ranked in the first, second and third places after MU-SFL students had voted were given their awards and letters of appreciation for entering the short film category in the Culture Week activities.

 The group members Başak Bekar, Sevdenur Çığır, Ayşenur İnan, Mustafa Gökçen,  Gülşah Bayburt, Doğukan Pars, Abdullah Giray and Mert Uçarkanat  who ranked the first in the Culture Week short film competition with their work ‘Nepal’ took their awards and letters of appreciation from the Education Coordinator and Lecturer Zümrüt Ergin and Lecturer Uğur Üzer.

 Lecturer Dr. Işıl Ruacan Silahtaroğlu presented the awards and letters of appreciation to the group members M. Enes Çelik, Yeşim Yüksel, Deniz Uyanış Eroğlu, Yusuf Duman, Ozan Barış Adıgüzel, Mert Görkem, Selenay Çelik and Mert Sönmez who came second in Culture Week with their work ‘İstanbul’.

Lecturer Aslı Yılmaz Ercan gave out the awards and letters of appreciation to the group members Ömer Rüştü Tuncalı, Muhammed Enes Aktürk, Furkan Gökalp, Yasin Yavuz, İrem Kemancı, Gökan Vanlı and Uğur Emre Torğut who took third place in Culture Week with the short film ‘Step 5’.

Lecturer Nickolas Diel who coordinated every stage of the Culture Week activities received his letter of appreciation thanks to his dedicated efforts from the Education Coordinator and Lecturer Zümrüt Ergin at the end of the Culture Week ceremony.

 At the end of the ceremony, the winners of the Culture Week and lecturers had their photos taken together.
