Marmara University School of Foreign Languages has received International Accreditation
ıMarmara University School of Foreign Languages has become accredited by receiving internationally recognized "Pearson Assured Certificate" as of 30 April 2018. It is such a significant development to be approved by Pearson Assured in terms of administrative and educational quality of the preparation programmes conducted in our School, which are English, German, French and Turkish (MU-TÖMER). This document proves that School of Foreign Languages has international assurance and competence with foreign language preparations. The relevant institution acknowledges that for the first time in Turkey a school has become accredited with its all units.
After accomplishing the required conditions and successfully completing the programme they attend in MU-SFL, students are going to become entitled to receive "Pearson Assured Certificate" "Pearson Assured" document is valid in many organizations and institutions in the UK, the USA, Asia, Europe and Middle East. This certificate enables students to carry on their career in these regions. It contributes greatly to students to school admissions, job applications and to pursue a career abroad.
The international accreditation demonstrates that the language programmes of MU-SFL are inspected and accredited periodically by an international, objective and independent institution. Furthermore, "Pearson Assured" is a competence and professional assurance document for the academic and administrative staff of MU-SFL. This means that the students who attend language programmes in our school are going to be trained by continuously improving staff and in innovative educational approach.
Esteemed Rector of Marmara University Prof. M. Emin ARAT accepted MU-SFL's the Director Harun DUMAN and Vice Directors Prof. Leyla COŞAN and Prof. Mahmut TEKÇE at his office in 24 May 2018. He congratulated MU-SFL and shared his contentedness. Rector also thanked all academic and administrative staff and accreditation committee, who involved in and contributed to this process.
