FRENCH COURSES

 

The French education program is prepared by Marmara University School of Foreign Language’s competent and experienced instructors and lessons are given in order to improve four skills as well as with a preparatory content for the Delf Exam in classrooms which are equipped with all technical equipment required for language education.

 

INFORMATION ABOUT THE EDUCATION PROGRAM

The content of French Language Education program is prepared pursuant to the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages”

 (CEFR) by our staff who are experts in their fields. In our action-oriented lessons,the improvement of four skills (Reading, Listening, Writing, Speaking) is targeted. Our method book ÉDİTO’s content is prepared in line with the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” (CEFR) and has the quality of preparing students for international Delf exams, as well.

Students’ personal development is tracked and they are given feedback on this topic, and if needed they are given additional resources to support their self-study.

Lessons take place in Marmara University Göztepe Campus and placement tests (including 4 language skills) are carried out by appointment.

 

FRENCH EDUCATION PROGRAM LEVELS

Each term’s education programs are opened with A1.1, A1.2,, A2.1, A2.2, B1.1, B1.2 and B1.3  language levels. Each program level is 60 lesson hours and each lesson lasts 50 minutes.

EXAMS

A final exam is held in each program level. The final score should be minimum 50 in order to continue to the next level.

CERTIFICATES

Successful candidates will receive a certificate from Marmara University stating the level reached. In case of failure “participation in education program document” showing the total lesson hours is provided.

After completing levels, our students can take the international Delf exam prepared by French Culture Institute in return for a certain amount of payment and get the Delf Certificate.

PROGRAM PRICE

Each level costs 830 liras. The spouses and children of Marmara University staff, students and graduates of Marmara University, students and civil servants get a discount. Please contact MUSEM accounting office to learn about the discount rates.
